Skins may have begun in Bristol, but the seventh and final series leaves the city to focus on characters now living in London and Manchester.
This series, which begins of E4 tonight, will mark a departure in style with former stars Hannah Murray (Cassie), Jack O’Connell (Cook) and Kaya Scodelario (Effy) returning to the roles which shaped their careers in three individual stories, each broadcast in two, one hour parts.
Sophie Gardiner, commissioning editor of Channel 4 Drama, said: “Always innovative, always truthful, Skins is a show that defined a generation. That generation is growing up.
“Skins seven catches up with our characters as they continue in their path to adulthood, finding out who they are going to be, and who their friends really are.”
