On the day that saw the sad sight of two empty plinths in place of Gromits, Feathers McGraw has appeared in a new location.
Bark At Ee on Queen Square and Patch on Clifton Hill have the ignominious distinction of being the fourth and fifth Gromit Unleashed sculptures to be damaged and removed from the trail.
Meanwhile, the new home of Mr McGraw is in the offices of Icon Films on College Green.
Icon Films sponsor the Poetry in Motion Gromit located in front of Bristol Cathedral and also made the trail’s official trailer.
But their new penguin resident should swap his remote control for the pistol he also used in The Wrong Trousers, becoming Gromit Unleashed’s enforcer in chief and preventing any further vandalism as the trail enters its penultimate week.
Very sad to hear that Gromits have been stolen. How is this even possible! That take planning and several people. Very disappointing ..
Luckily they weren’t stolen, but they have both been damaged. They’ve been taken away to be repaired
