Bristol singer-songwriter George Ezra is among the longlisted artists for the BBC Sound of 2014.
The list of rising music artists showcases some of the brightest new acts for the year ahead, with previous winners including Haim, Jessie J and Adele.
19-year-old Ezra studied at the Bristol Institute of Modern Music. This year, he had a spring residency at the Gallimaufry on the Gloucester Road before playing the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury.
Bristol’s Introducing presenter Richard Pitt described him as “a young man with the voice of a 50 year old”.
Ezra is going on a national and European tour in the new year, which comes to the Fleece on March 3.
