What an absolutely horrible response to someone who has spent a lifetime contributing to science. Alice Roberts is much more than a television personality. Please see this:-

It should be noted that Professor Alice Roberts deals in scientific facts which have been subjected to the Scientific Method. The Theory of Evolution is supported by an ever increasing mountain of empirical evidence from all the scientific disciplines. Evolution is a fact, not a hypothesis.
In stark contrast to this, Creationism is based on nothing more than myth, legend and superstition. It is not in any way compatible with science.
Christians believe whatever it says in the Bible but it is imbued with myth. Take, for example, the flood myth. There are many flood myths but the Genesis flood myth was plagiarized from The Epic of Gilgamesh. Please see

I completely concur with Professor Roberts in her desire to teach only known facts and in her horror at seeing supernatural nonsense being presented as science. It is not science. It is religious belief and should not be foisted on an unsuspecting public.
