The Trinity Centre has unveiled a glimpse of what the venue will look like next year after securing a grant from the Big Lottery Fund.
Work has already begun to create a new daytime reception area and on the upstairs hall space.
A new partition wall upstairs will create two spaces. A large main hall will have a sprung wooden floor and underfloor heating suitable for a range of large community meetings and private functions as well as music, dance and theatre performances.
There will also be a second ‘community common room’, with computers and furnishings suitable for community meetings and learning activities.
Completion of the work is due in January.
