He’s like a one-man Hollywood action film soundtrack, according to The Times, and beatboxer Shlomo will become a familiar face at the Bristol Old Vic in the next few months.
Tonight and tomorrow, he presents his “interactive eargasmic experience”, Shlomo: Human Geekbox, a journey exploring the art and science of geekdom, and the music of the human voice.
Then from November 28 to January 18, Shlomo will be providing the music for this year’s Old Vic Christmas show, The Little Mermaid.
Shlomo has previously collaborated with the likes of Bjork, Damon Albarn and Jarvis Cocker, and for The Little Mermaid is working with DJ Walde, a classically trained musician.
