There is no reason that the media should not publicise his innocence comprehensively given the witch hunt they led.
Also, whilst deeply distressing for those affected, Ms Yeates is never going to be un-murdered, so her remaining so is a moot point.

- For those interested in such things, the cheapo offie "Drinks4You" on BS3's North St has a large (indeed, slightly worrying) collection of spirits - largely brandy, I think - being sold in rifle-shaped bottles; possibly even Kalashnikov-shaped bottles (I am no expert in these matters, but they are certainly large).
Which got me to thinking: could this be a none-too-subtle sign designed to ward off would-be thieves and/or rivals?
