The Yogscast, based in Portland Square, are YouTube broadcasters who last year became the first channel in the United Kingdom to reach one billion views.

Their popularity may be baffling to anyone not into playing computer games, but it goes to show that it is possible to turn your hobby into a career.

Founding Yogscast members Lewis Brindley and Simon Lane have the most viewed and second-most subscribed YouTube channel in the UK, with more than six million followers.
