Spanish filmmaker Moises Perez has made a short video documenting his adopted city of Bristol, a city which so many of his countrymen now also call home.
“After spending 11 months of my life in this incredible city, I felt obliged to create this video as a way of thanks,” Moises says.
“It’s the most alive city that I’ve ever lived in; there’s always something happening and this is what I’ve tried to get across in my video.”
8/10 – Needs more rain
I agree! And what about the hidden places? Somewhere to make people who don’t know *everywhere* in Bristol go ‘Where’s that? I don’t know where that is’ and pique their interest. Like Redcliffe caves, or Birdcage walk…among others.
Yes, this mostly features the well known areas, but it was made by a spaniard who had spent a year here, so that’s not too surprising. It’s made as a parting gift / thank you and personally I think it’s beautiful, even if it doesn’t include enough of my personal favourite parts of Bristol – it is showing his Bristol!
But then, it does feature Bristol’s most awesome running club GO SOUTHVILLE!!
