To paraphrase a popular piece of advice around this time of year, the Christmas Steps isn’t just for Christmas.
It is, however, still a splendid place to do your Christmas shopping. Not just the Christmas Steps themselves either, but within the confines of the Christmas Steps Arts Quarter.
The area takes in Christmas Steps, Colston Street, Colston Yard, Horfield Road, Lower Park Row, Park Row, Perry Road, St Michael’s Hill and Upper Maudlin Street, and takes in some of Bristol’s best and quirkiest shops and cafes.
Many of these will be open up until 9pm this evening for a special day of late-night Christmas shopping.
