Signs with quotes and the hashtag #KYDquotes have been appearing across Bristol in recent days.
But it’s not a local art project.
Further investigation reveals that KYD stands for Kill Your Darlings, a new film about Allen Ginsberg from director John Krokidas.
Similar marketing has taken place in other UK cities, with Andrew Herrington of Nottinghamshire Police tweeting: “Don’t fly post in our city, even if you’re Daniel Radcliffe #KYDquotes. We’ve removed them and will send the bill”

Remove them immediately – this is vandalism not marketing!
Easy matey! It’s not hurting anyone.
What is being vandalised?
