Bristol Rugby unveil bold new kit design

Bristol Rugby have unveiled the bold new kit that they will wear during their forthcoming 125th anniversary season.

The numbers 125 form the most visual aspect of the shirt, which ditches the club’s traditional blue and white hoops.

The memorial gates from the Memorial Stadium feature at the foot of the design made by Emersons Green firm Zar-X Sports, with a small red poppy on the collar.

There has been an overwhelmingly negative reaction from fans. On the club’s Facebook page, Sharon Forward summed up the mood of many: “Just awful awful awful.”
