Bristol-born actor Matt Kane has been named as one of Screen International’s 2013 UK Stars of Tomorrow – an annual feature which spotlights up-and-coming actors and filmmakers that will be making waves in the years to come.

Educated at The Castle School in Thornbury, Kane is best known for playing the main role in BBC teen drama The Cut.

Kane is currently working in the USA in the ABC television series Switched At Birth, and will soon be seen on the big screen starring opposite Kevin Kline in The Last of Robin Hood.

Past talents introduced in Screen’s Stars of Tomorrow list include James McAvoy, Benedict Cumberbatch, Matt Smith and Carey Mulligan.
