Grillstock festival returns to the Lloyds Amphitheatre this weekend, with good food and good music combining in an event which was founded in Bristol three years ago and this year for the first time is leaving the city for a sojourn to Manchester’s Albert Square in June.

A barbecue competition will see 24 teams battling it out over smoky coals, overseen by bonafide barbecuing legend Dr BBQ.

There will also be music across two stages featuring headliners Kitty, Daisy & Lewis; the now infamous chilli-eating competition (below); and beers from around the world.
