More well-known artists have been added to the lineup of Gromit Unleashed, which in July will see 70 Gromits take to the streets of Bristol.
They include Peter Blake (Sgt. Pepper), Quentin Blake (illustrator of Roald Dahl’s books), Martin Handford (Where’s Wally), Richard Williams (Who Framed Roger Rabbit animator), Peter Brookes (Times cartoonist), Mark Titchner (Turner Prize nominee), Filthy Luker (graffiti artist) and Simon Tofield (Simon’s Cat).
Fashion designers Paul Smith and Cath Kidston are also joining the roster, with names already announced being Axel Scheffler (creator of children’s favourite the Gruffalo), Raymond Briggs (The Snowman), and Aardman’s Peter Lord and Nick Park.
Curve balls include comedian Harry Hill and inventor of the wind-up radio Trevor Bayliss.

Wow – some great names there. Can’t wait to see what Times cartoonist Peter Brookes comes up with.
If you’re going to list well-known artists the Why wasn’t the prolific graff-artist Tom Deams not mentioned?
