“The rather preposterous idea of making an exhibition/installation work that sums up the experience of living in Bristol” is how arts collective Big Elbow describe Bristolgeist, a new exhibition which opens today at Hamilton House. The aim was that people across the city joined in with the creative process, and to this end questionnaires were placed in cafes and bars last month.

The exhibition promises separate yet unified pieces of work, pieced together to produce a “phenomenological map of the city”.

Bristolgeist is at Hamilton House until April 7.
