Stik is the street artist whose two huge stick figures were the largest paintings at last year’s See No Evil. His work can also be seen in Bristol on the side of the Workout gym on North Street, painted as part of last year’s Upfest where his work previously appeared on the shutters of Southville Deli (below).
This week’s Big Issue contains a free Stik print in tribute to his homeless friends and also to raise awareness of the work of the Big Issue.
Stik told the magazine: “My figures don’t have mouths, they are silent. Most homeless people are invisible as well as silent. The Big Issue gives them a voice.”
