The Parlour Showrooms on College Green is building an enviable reputation for the versatility of its space, hosting such diverse events as a cine-sauna during the Encounters Short Film Festival to a cafe during Mayfest. The two adjacent empty shops and the office space above them is owned by the council and has been opened up for creative use by the Capacity Bristol scheme.
Submissions are now open for the Parlour Showrooms’ spring 2013 programme of events from March to May, with a call for high quality fine art exhibitions from local and national artists, artist collectives and emerging artists working in installation, sculpture, photography, painting and/or drawing.
