Recession at the bottom of Jacob’s Wells Road sells second hand and vintage clothes, accessories, and bits and bobs. It is a shop that is brimming with unique clothes and bizarre curiosities. On Friday, October 5, Recession is hosting a fashion show at the Southbank Club in Bedminster, where the new season’s acquisitions are up for grabs.

A great place to hold a wedding or celebration. The Clifton Observatory
On The Downs near the Suspension Bridge, housed in a small tower and open from noon till 4pm in the winter, a camera projects a panoramic view of the surrounding area onto a white surface inside a darkened room. It’s exciting and magical and should be viewed on bright days for the best results.

Just makes you feel special that you can go to work on a boat from Southville to Hotwells quicker than car, bike or foot for just 70p. Sometimes the river is buzzing, sometimes misty and silent.
