St George’s may have missed out in the latest round of Arts Council England funding, but that has not stopped them from announcing a typically diverse range of events taking place at the acclaimed concert hall next month. Here is a pick of some of the highlights:
Tuesday, May 3
Sharing his hilarious and sometimes poignant tales of life as a schools inspector in the Yorkshire Dales, this best selling author, radio and TV personality is one of Britain’s greatest comic writers and raconteurs.
