There are 34 places around the world called Bristol, from a small village in the Canadian province of New Brunswick to a ghost town owned by a mining corporation in Nevada (below).
On July 5, 34 Bristol artists will aim to create “a collective attempt to consider our relationship to these faraway places” in a project organised by the Arnolfini.
The artists will create 34 new works across Bristol, each considering their relationship to one of our city’s distant namesakes.
