- This would be AWESOME. It has always been my dream to see that cinema restored and not destroyed as flats, like so much of Bristol.

Fri 21st - Food Porn at The Wardrobe:
"Award-winning poet and all round food junkie James Wheale returns to The Wardrobe Theatre with his brand new comedy show, Food Porn.
A stand-up show featuring spoken word, cooking powered hip hop, cutting edge food technology and dodgy erotica, the show explores the greedy desires of the human experience - food and sex. From the forbidden love affair between a vegan and a gummy bear to experimental moral erotica for moral people, Food Porn is as sumptuous as it is silly. Come feast."

- Good point Bob, I mean I can't believe that the 'luvvies' aren't cheering from the rooftops.
The money used for arts and culture projects is an investment - as Charlie Bolton already mentioned for each pound put in several more are generated externally.
I haven't seen or heard Bristol's councillors or MPs offering up their allowances or expenses so they can 'take a hit like the rest of us'.
