This would be AWESOME. It has always been my dream to see that cinema restored and not destroyed as flats, like so much of Bristol.

Good point Bob, I mean I can't believe that the 'luvvies' aren't cheering from the rooftops. The money used for arts and culture projects is an investment - as Charlie Bolton already mentioned for each pound put in several more are generated externally. I haven't seen or heard Bristol's councillors or MPs offering up their allowances or expenses so they can 'take a hit like the rest of us'.
