Alice Roberts is much more than a television personality. Please see this:-
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alice_Roberts

It should be noted that Professor Alice Roberts deals in scientific facts which have been subjected to the Scientific Method. The Theory of Evolution is supported by an ever increasing mountain of empirical evidence from all the scientific disciplines. Evolution is a fact, not a hypothesis.
In stark contrast to this, Creationism is based on nothing more than myth, legend and superstition. It is not in any way compatible with science.
Christians believe whatever it says in the Bible but it is imbued with myth. Take, for example, the flood myth. There are many flood myths but the Genesis flood myth was plagiarized from The Epic of Gilgamesh. Please see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epic_of_Gilgamesh#Relationship_to_the_Bible

I completely concur with Professor Roberts in her desire to teach only known facts and in her horror at seeing supernatural nonsense being presented as science. It is not science. It is religious belief and should not be foisted on an unsuspecting public.

It isn’t. Dr Alice Roberts is simply pro science and factual education. If anything this zoo undermines modern mainstream Christianity and taints an otherwise nice place for kids.

Prof Roberts is a great deal more than a “television personality”. Your choice of that description and the grubbiness of pulling Prof Roberts’s young daughter into the discussion undermines any point you might have had.

It suggests a bunch of animals on a boat. And, at a pinch, a bible story. And not all Christians are creationists anyway.

And in your response you fail to qualify just Professor Roberts’ ‘subversive opinions’ were nor her ‘angry’ sentiments.

It also doesn’t surprise me that you refer to Professor Roberts as merely a TV personality, illustrating the description with a reference to Coast and Don’t Die Young while ignoring scientific-based programmes such as The Great Human Race and Origins Of Us.

The problem is your ‘attraction’ is presenting religion as science fact which is clearly an attempt to deceive.

I would certainly agree with Professor Alice Roberts’ view that schools and families should not visit.

I must say that it took me rather by surprise. Perhaps you should be more open about it, otherwise your protestations look disingenuous. Or are you really hoping to entice people in to ambush them with your message?
