An Italian restaurant on Cheltenham Road has had its third change of name in less than two years.

In a not too distant former life, what is now Don Camillo was Amici and then Salvatore’s Kitchen.

Don Camillo, promising “Italian Authenticity at it’s Best”, is a new venture between two restaurateurs with 50 years’ experience in the business.

A current lunchtime and early evening offer is any pasta or pizza from the menu for £4.95 between 5pm and 6.30pm, Monday to Thursday; and midday to 6.30pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

@Phil, kingsdown gives you 2 irrespective of whether or not you have any off street parking (they proposed restricting that but it is impossible to enforce -is a garage full of junk offstreet parking or not?-. you can also have a shared permit you can swap between cars if you do have a driveway. #3 vehicle is the one where there are no guarantees. This limit puts an upper bound on the # of vehicles a student flat can have, more than anything else. Policy on new buildings? Unknown. If "sustainable" then maybe the limit will be lower. Policy when a house -> flats. None: assume the 2 permits per household. Kingsdown & Cotham don't have parking overload out of commuter hours, especially now student vehicle ownership is limited by both permit restrictions and the fact there is now nowhere free by the university to park. It's unlikely clifton and redland will have a higher resident load than the KN and CM zones. Monty: that's another story: either the council formalises parking illegally on both sides of richmond road, and driving down the pavement on Cobourg road, or the capacity of some roads will be cut in half -which will of course return three pavements to pedestrians in the process.

Can someone official confirm that everyone who wants at least one permit per household in the new clifton/redland etc RPZs will be able to have one? Or are we going to have a similar situation in parts of the area? what happens with new housing developments?

This is confusing 1. They want an RPZ 2. They already have to wait 5 years for a permit? Is it that they are just in the central CPZ and that leads to the delays, whereas a Brandon Hill micro-RPZ would be limited to its residents.
