The plight of some of the most endangered birds in the world are highlighted in a new exhibition from Louis Masai which opens today in the former Edwardian toilets on Woodland Road.

Masai is a London-based artist who brightened up some of the walls in St Werburgh’s earlier this year with a menagerie of endangered birds.

The space, dressed by Dig Haushizzle from nearby Colston Street, has been transformed into a bird box, with interactive audio of the birds and their habita, woven with references to extinct and vintage music, from dead musicians to cassette tapes.
