A photographer taking part in the 24 Hours In Bristol competition may have saved a mystery man’s life after helping him out of the mud close to Bristol Fruit Market in St Philip’s.
Claas Moeller’s photograph of the man has been shortlisted in the competition, but now the German wants to know more about him and if he is okay.
After pulling him out of the mud, Moeller and a friend took the man to a security guard at the fruit market, who could only offer him a neon vest to keep warm.
“Met this desperate and freezing guy who fell into the Avon in the middle of the night,” wrote Moeller on his entry form.
“This photo was taken while we were waiting together with him to be picked up by the ambulance.”
