Mayfest and Theatre Bristol are inviting artists and companies to propose ambitious performance projects that can be performed at Mayfest in 2015.

“We want you to inspire us,” they say. “This is an opportunity to collaborate with a producing team to create an extraordinary experience for festival audiences,and potentially beyond…

“We don’t mind what sort of space you want to present it in, we just want you to tell us what you want to do, and we want it to be brilliant.”

The offer includes:

• Up to £5,000 commission fee
• An R&D residency at Mayfest 2014
• Producer advice/creative feedback during development and realisation
• Support with further fundraising to realise full production
• Production and marketing support to present the finished piece at Mayfest 2015
• Support and advocacy in exploring the life of the project beyond Mayfest 2015
