Cheo has taken a friendly swipe at fellow Bristol graffiti artist 45rpm as the pair and members of the What and ASK crews took over some of the billboards at Creative Common.

45rpm is well-known for drawing owls, so Cheo sends up his signature theme:

A few feet over, 45rpm has painted his own design, featuring Snoopy brandishing a spray can:

It wasn’t just graffiti artists taking over Creative Common this weekend.

A boxing ring was installed outside to host a conker championships, while inside the big top there was a children’s show by Hinged Theatre called Vasalisa & The Peacock. Youngsters loved the joining-in elements such as collecting colourful feathers, it was just a shame that sound problems made the story difficult to follow.

From Tuesday to Thursday this week, it’s Apocalyptic Circus  with Push Me, Pull You; while on Friday into Saturday Mr Scruff plays his only Bristol show this year.
