St Peter’s Hospice staff and volunteers will be giving a unique insight into their work today via social media.
The Hospice will be live tweeting as well as posting Facebook updates between 8am to 8pm, demonstrating what a typical day involves.
Using the hashtag #HospiceLive, the day will feature regular updates including photos and images.
Staff hope to be able to show how key decisions are made, and how the needs of patients and their families are considered.
The initiative comes as part of Hospice Care Week, an annual week of activity to help raise the profile of hospice care across the UK.
