These two gentlemen are Vince Crocker of the Ashley Down Brewery and Michael Wiper of Wiper and True:

They are just two of the brewers and beer fans who will be taking part in the inaugural Bristol Beer Week, which starts today.

A launch event tonight at the Hare on the Hill in Kingsdown will see the pair join fellow brewers from Beerd Brewery, Rocket Science Craft Ales, Arbor Ales and Art Brew tapping the beers that they have brewed especially for Bristol Beer Week.

Other events over the next seven days include tap takeovers, talks and tastings.
