A busking string quartet in a graffiti-strewn tunnel

File this under ‘Only in Bristol’: a string quartet busking yesterday afternoon in the graffiti-strewn Mina Road tunnel in St Werburgh’s.

Thanks to this weekend’s St Werburgh’s Arts Trail, the tunnel was busier than usual and the Aman Quartet drew a crowd of several dozen as they raised money for the nearby City Farm.

Think I'll pop in when the proper pancakes hit the menu. Perhaps on my own first of all, then if it's a good experience with a few friends. Would like to see this place succeed.

Humans of New York isn't exactly unique itself though. Photos of interesting people in cities have been everywhere since blogging began. Even Venue uses to do it! Face Hunter is probably the most successful, though a bit fashion for my taste.Would be interesting to see this project teamed up with a writer. Maybe using flash-fiction or ghost writing to bring wave subject to life.
