Steve Hyslop at No. 1 Harbourside

Steve Hyslop is exhibiting his woodcut prints at No. 1 Harbourside until the end of September.

Several prints are of Bristol scenes, by the artist best known for designing Severn Cider‘s logo and bottle labels.

The prints below are of the former Courage brewery overlooking Castle Park, Avonmouth docks and a Bristol warehouse.

Think I'll pop in when the proper pancakes hit the menu. Perhaps on my own first of all, then if it's a good experience with a few friends. Would like to see this place succeed.

Humans of New York isn't exactly unique itself though. Photos of interesting people in cities have been everywhere since blogging began. Even Venue uses to do it! Face Hunter is probably the most successful, though a bit fashion for my taste.Would be interesting to see this project teamed up with a writer. Maybe using flash-fiction or ghost writing to bring wave subject to life.
