Montpelier-based musician, producer and visual artist Kayla Painter has released a revised version of her debut EP as a free download.
The eponymous EP was originally released in 2012 and now gets the re-release treatment from London electronic music label Bit-Phalanx.
“It’s an exciting time for me, to have my EP re-released in anticipation of my newest material coming out in October,” Painter told Bristol Culture.
“This year I’ve been busy working with material, finding a new set up and pushing myself to achieve a new sound with my music.
“The essence is very much ‘new’, as you’ll gather from the title of my next EP ‘A Very New Everything’.”
The free download, available here, remastered and with an exclusive bonus track, paves the way for ‘A Very New Everything’, which will be receiving a full CD and digital release in October.
