A fireworks display will return to Bristol Harbour Festival this year for the first time since 2010.
On Saturday, July 27 at 10pm, the fireworks will be fired from behind the M Shed to end the festival’s second day.
Simon Cook, cabinet member responsible for tourism said: “We want to extend our thanks to our sponsor GE Oil and Gas, along with Clevedon-based Firemagic, who I am sure will create a wonderful show and Umberslade who have allowed us to use their land to launch from.
“The Richmond Event Management team have worked extremely hard to ensure one of the festival’s biggest highlights returns and we hope the crowds enjoy them.”
The popular annual display was cancelled three years’ ago by Bristol City Council who said it could no longer afford to fund the cost of stewarding.
