A chef who couldn’t cook an egg three years and has since been signed up by Jamie Oliver is demonstrating his new-found skills for the first time to a live audience this weekend at the Foodies Festival.

Millions of people worldwide have seen videos of Barry Lewis (below, with Oliver) from Worle in Somerset teach himself how to cook alongside his four-year-old daughter on his website My Virgin Kitchen.

Barry will join the likes of Michelin-starred chef Martin Blunos in the chefs theatre at the festival.
