If you have a spare £2 million, you can now buy the Clifton Observatory overlooking the Suspension Bridge and Avon Gorge.

With the purchase comes both a camera obscura and St Vincent’s Cave in the rocks 30-feet below the cliff top which is the highest point in Bristol.

The hefty asking price also comes with planning permission for a licensed restaurant with a terrace.

But be warned, the Observatory’s previous owner spend £500,000 on the former windmill for little reward.
