A sustainable food summit launched this year’s Eat Drink Bristol Fashion.

The tipis are now back in Queen Square, with the Pony & Trap hosting the first dinner this evening, swiftly followed by the likes of Bell’s Diner, the Pump House, Casamia and Bath Priory.

Debutants this year are City of Bristol College, Wilks and Souk Kitchen.

A special lunch on Saturday, May 25 is being hosted by Pieminister founder Tristan Hogg, who is back in the kitchen to celebrate 10 years of pastry perfection with sharing pies for two people and Pieminister’s already legendary Bristolbocker glory.

The prices are not cheap, and some would ask why pay over the odds to eat under canvas when you can eat in the restaurants’ real dining rooms for less money.

For those without deep pockets, tapas food is available every day from 10am, with a bar and live music until late. The kitchen and waiting staff even show their tipis when asked nicely:
