Over the last few days, filmmakers, animators, visual and sound artists have been making digital shorts as part of the third annual 0117 Hour Challenge. This year, the competition has focused on the theme of ‘Journeys’ and exploring Bristol Temple Quarter for the chance to win £1,000.
The culmination of the challenge is this evening at the M Shed, where the completed shorts will be screened and the winners announced by a jury which includes Peter Carlton from Warp Films and Bristol City Council museums boss Julie Finch.
Presented by Bristol Film Office, Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival and M Shed, the 0117 Hour Challlenge is now on its third edition, now part of Bristol Temple Quarter commissions coordinated by Watershed, Knowle West Media Centre and MAYK, with support from Bristol City Council and Arts Council England.
