An international network of adventurers founded in and run from Bristol is hosting a special evening tonight at the QEH Theatre. The mission of Explorers Connect is to make adventures more accessible, and with that aim three leading explorers will be sharing experiences, talking about their biggest adventures, how they got started, and giving inspiration and tips.
Sarah Outen was the first woman to row solo across the Indian Ocean. Jim McNeill is a polar explorer and polar bear scientist. John Sullivan (below) is a jungle survival expert who has lived with cannibals.
The evening, raising money for St Peter’s Hospice, will be hosted by Belinda Kirk, television producer, founder of Explorers Connect and part of the first all-woman crew to row around the coast of Great Britain.
