Dig Haüshizzle looks like a bang on-trend new bar, full of industrial fittings and mismatched furniture, with deer heads and antlers on the walls. There are battered filing cabinets, test tubes and clogs; the kind of ephemera that no drinking den worth its salt these days can be seen without.
But rather than being a drinking den, this is a shop in a former hairdressers on Colston Street where the bang on-trend bars can kit themselves out, or anyone who wants some seriously cool pieces for their home can come and shop to their heart’s content.
Dig Haüshizzle was created in 2010 by Cassandra Linton and Edward Nicholas when struggling to furnish their own home with the individual and unique pieces they wanted.
“Getting carried away we started to buy a bit too much for our little flat,” says Cassandra. “Our friends and family started asking us to source home wares for them as we were always buying things that they loved.”
Dig, as it is fondly known, has previously popped-up in the Antlers gallery, The Gallimaufry on the Gloucester Road and Dustbowl Vintage on Park Street, while also growing their collection online. This new shop is their first permanent presence.
