Jubilee swimming pool in Knowle has reopened following a £300,000 makeover. There is now a new gym, refurbished pool, a new reception area with a view of the pool, improved changing facilities, carpets, and upgraded showers and lighting.

The pool on Jubilee Road was shut when the new £25 million leisure centre complex at Hengrove opened in February.

Contractors Parkwood Leisure want the reopened pool and gym to act as a “community hub” for all but with a “strong focus on the 50+ groups”.
