great show!!! Definitely have to watch the GPO film, as it was all lost in the echoey surroundings of the shed. My old man told me it was quite radical in its day, showing working class people as real humans, instead of props for the ruling classes.
my fav bit was when the graphics all came together and people realised it was the shed they were in and all cheered!
top night and one that me feel proud to call Bristol home :D

Loved it ...

Have seen the GPO thing before for some reason (dunno why or how) but echo others sentiments that in this venue it just fitted perfectly ..

For me the final element of the show was the best though, thoroughly enjoyed it, just wish it had been a lot longer ..

Can't wait to see whether they get to do it all again.

Really enjoyed the event. Want to watch the GPO film again as couldn't make out the audio clearly over the hubbub of the distracted crowd. It was great to see it in that setting. Thought the 2nd part was OK but couldn't really see the point of Inkie's tracings over with an ipad over the stills from the GPO film. The 3rd part was great though. Well conceived and executed. Aptly enough, for a piece put on as part of the Cultural Olympiad, it elicted similar feelings from me as when I watched Boyle's opening ceremony. Felt very lucky to have seen it all.
