A life-sized inflatable replica of Stonehenge is coming to Bristol on Saturday. Sacrilege is a bouncy piece of art by Turner Prize-winning artist Jeremy Deller which will be erected on College Green for one day only as part of the London 2012 Festival.
Bristol is one of the last appearances of Sacrilege, which will tour 25 locations across the UK.
Stonehenge like you have never seen it before will be in College Green between 10am and 6pm. It is free, but there are a few rules, which include no shoes, no sharp objects and no human sacrifices.
Sacrilege first popped up on June 21 for the first time at the National Botanic Garden in Carmarthenshire to mark the opening day of the London 2012 Festival, and will finish at the North West’s closing celebration, WE PLAY Expo at Preston Guild 2012 on September 9, the last day of the Paralympic Games.
