So the last week of Ping! Bristol comes to an end, or so we were led to believe. But no! The temporary table tennis tables will all remain in place until the end of September, but from now on you will have to bring your own bats and balls as stocks will no longer be replenished.

This week I have played two VIPs. The first, Nic, Queen of Ping, in Easton. The second, Simon, leader of Bristol City Council, on College Green.

The eight human opponents and one robot faced over the last seven days brings the current number of tables played to 33, leaving eight locations remaining.
