On October 22, Oxjam Bristol will take over Stokes Croft for a day of live music to raise money for Oxfam’s vital work across the world. Before that happens, the event needs a launch party, and that is happening tonight at No. 51 Stokes Croft, featuring Bristol’s Anna YoungJoyce the Librarian and Andy Valentine.

The event will be a kickstart to a series of fringe shows before the Oxjam Bristol Takeover festival in October. Keep your eyes peeled to www.bristoloxjam.com for all the latest news on events and lineups.

Helen Martin from Oxjam Bristol said: “Oxjam’s tagline is ‘Local Music, Global Impact’, something we are taking by the horns and running with. Bristol has an amazing music scene and lots of wonderful people; Oxjam Bristol is celebrating both these things with vigour.”
