There is now just one week remaining to catch the biggest exhibition at the City Museum and Art Gallery since the Banksy show last year. Art From the New World, “a big brash exhibition of the new American art scene”, finishes on Sunday, August 22.
The exhibition is programmed in conjunction with the Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles and features almost 50 new works from both established and emerging US urban artists, ranging from figurative painting to street art.
Artists whose work appears in the show include Sarah Folkman, Sylvia Ji, Ron English, Gary Baseman and Buff Monster (whose Happy Pink Explosion is on the right, and can be purchased in signed print from here).
