To celebrate today being the longest day of the year, those lovely people at Coexist in Stokes Croft’s Hamilton House have curated a whole day of music on College Green, starting at 4.55am this morning and finishing at 9.32pm this evening.
150 singer-songwriters are due to play seven-minute sets from sunrise to sunset on an outdoor, unamplified “micro-stage”.
The aim is to demonstrate the strength, depth and diversity of original musical talent in Bristol, and at the same time celebrate the Summer Solstice.
The day is an extension of the Coexist Music Collective, a monthly singer-songwriters’ circles who meet at Hamilton House on the third Monday of each month.
