Rileys

Rileys is a man’s dream. There is snooker and pool, beer and cider, burgers and chips. That has always been what Rileys is all about.

But the Clifton Triangle branch has recently undergone a refit which has seen the place given quite a makeover. There are now even more pool tables, and a new television in the dark room at the back, once solely the snooker area, which over the years has seen more pool tables creep in.

And that’s not all. The main room, with large windows overlooking the Wills Memorial Building, has seen the biggest change. Alongside the red American pool tables and games machines, there are now dart boards and a poker table. As if that’s not enough, a huge screen has also been erected in one corner by samsungfootball.co.uk, just in time for the World Cup.

Like a bigger version of games rooms seen in the palatial homes of American football stars on MTV Cribs, the new and improved Rileys has everything a red blooded male could want from a competitive night out with mates, with the added addition of one of the biggest big screens in Bristol to watch the football.

Another thing about Rileys is that it seems to never close. So there is no reason for some people to ever leave. Unless you want to meet girls.
