The Affordable Art Fair is returning to the Passenger Shed – now known as Brunel’s Old Station – from this Friday. It is a chance to buy artwork for less than £3000 from 55 galleries, exhibiting original paintings, sculptures, photography and prints.
But, for £5 on the door entry, I think people would be better off visiting some of Bristol’s permanent galleries, such as the Nails Gallery in St Nic’s Market. For far less, you can buy some quite brilliant original works of art.
The Nails Gallery will be at the Affordable Art Fair, but throughout the year you can see what they have to offer in their permanent home in St Nic’s. Find out more about the gallery here.
